Why don’t you ever post about what is going on with the CRNC?

When I turned 18 I registered to vote as the first Republican in my family. Through 1998 I always voted the GOP ticket. However, following Clinton’s acquittal with 10 Republican votes I changed my voter status to “no party”. I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004 because I feared the Democrat alternative. I have regretted my vote both times.
In 2002 I offered my support to a Republican woman who was planning to challenge incumbent Corrine Brown in Florida’s 3rd CD. However, the GOP establishment in Florida did not want anyone to challenge Brown- fearing that a high black turnout for Brown would hurt Republicans in other races, namely Jeb Bush. The Republican Party harassed my candidate to the point that she withdrew from the race. I immediately began looking for an alternative candidate, but could not find one. Then within a week of the day J. C. Watts announced his retirement from Congress, Jennifer Carroll, the GOP’s failed 2000 candidate, announced she would resign from her state job- effective on the last day of the qualifying period.
To insure that Brown did have a challenger I became a write-in candidate. My purpose was to harass the GOP since I knew I would not be able to campaign and had no chance of winning. Still I received about 100 votes without spending a dime.
I grew up knowing that the Democrats are the party for of the welfare state. I have since realized that the Republicans are the party of the corporate state. The Republican Party is an unholy mix of fiscal liberals, libertarian libertines and true conservatives. This mix is unsound and it makes it impossible for the GOP to be a true conservative party. The GOP is not salvageable. In all likelihood conservatives do not comprise an electoral majority in America, but they are used and abused by the GOP’s RINOs and libertarians.
and, as long as the RINOs and libertarians are allowed to take conservatives for granted, they will never provide the socially conservative legislation the country sorely needs, I see no reason why social conservatives should remain in the Republican Party. Once the RINOs and their libertarian allies realize that they will have no power without the support of true conservatives, they may be more willing to implement conservative policies.

Ronald Reagan is certainly swirling in his grave. As a 72 year old life long Republican, I have not left the Party but the Party has left me.
Sen. Fred Thompson has the charisma and honesty I seek as a candidate and officeholder. He is no politician, as I believe he is what you see. His personal life is his and would not influence me. We all have our lives that others would find was not to their liking but business is business and personal life has no play. If you are good at what you do and the world benefits history forgets the shortcomings.
Witness Einstein;VanGogh; Hamilton; Jefferson etc etc.
Tom Coburn and Thompson would make a great team. Blogs can bring down the cost of elections so that the ball game can be played by all. Coburn and Thompson blogs as yours could help bring back a truly Conservative United States.
I have 120 hours of poly science under my belt.
If I can help let me know.

Mr. Harris,
I found the article on Arizona’s 8th District race for Congress very interesting. It basically reprinted the liberal newspapers stories about what they would like to see happen here. I trust a more comprehensive approach by savethegop will get to the truth about our district, my candidacy and why this District is not the “swing” district touted by anyone less than conservative declares it to be.
I am a social and fiscal conservative with a record of accomplishment in the Arizona House of Representatives (including being the Majority Whip). My conservative beliefs and common sense approach respecting traditional Republican Party principles of smaller government, etc. will win this election.
Sincerely,
Randy Graf
Candidate for Congress

WKGO-AM 10/24/00 Bernie Ward interviews Larry Flynt Listener summary
“Bernie Ward, KGO radio, called Larry Flynt and asked him about what happened when he was on Crossfire and what does Flynt know and what can he prove. This is what Flynt had to say: Flynt said he could hear them screaming in his ear piece “there is nothing we can do about it, we are live.” After the show Flynt went on to another interview I think in So. Calif. He then heard that the powers that be said no tape was to be released, no transcripts to be let out. He learned that CNN deleted the transcripts and then they decided that didn’t look good so they deleted everything. Flynt said his 3 investigators had been investigating for 8 months. In 1970 George W. Bush was working for his father in his campaign in Texas. He got a girl pregnant and he got her an abortion. His fathers campaign manager arranged for the abortion. Four of her friends knew about the affair, knew about the pregnancy and knew about the abortion. The only thing Flynt is lacking is the girl to say yes to telling her story. He has affidavits from the 4 girls. Flynt said he went to the mainstream media and said you do not have to ask about the story just ask if it happened. They won’t touch it. The girlfriend says she does not have anything bad to say about George W.Bush. When she was asked if she was mad because George did not come to the hospital she got upset and cried. Abortions were not legal then, it was before Roe VS. Wade. Flynt’s question is “how is it ok for George W. Bush and not everyone else.” Bernie asked him about Bob Livingston and was it true he had more information on him then he gave to the press. He said he had lots on Livingston that he never told, but his wife called Flynt and asked him to not tell the details. Flynt agreed since Livingston resigned. Flynt said he talked to the BBC today and they are considering going with the story, they know all about it. They are not under the same constraints they say. London Times knows about the story also. He said the mainstream media is scared to death of the story. Flynt wondered why people are concerned about Al Gore’s credibility, but they will not turn the tables on Bush. He said Bushes spin machine in Texas makes Clintons look antiquated. Bush is going to be on Larry King next week, so Bernie wondered if Flynt would call King and have him ask Bush some questions. Flynt didn’t know Bush was going to be on the show but he would try to call King.”

savethegop.com is the best right wing website I’ve yet seen. It’s too bad so many people have placed irrelevant/disgusting comments. Mark Harris, you are a fine and chivalrous man, and as the founder of the Republicans’ Club in Northampton High School, in the core of liberal Massachusetts, I wish you luck. Remember, we’re all in this together. Hang in there!

Dear Mark:
I forget if I’ve emailed you before or not, but would you be able to link my blog, http://educationpa.blogspot.com to your site? It’s getting better and better and you’ll likely like my first two posts - they’re the real thing, in a very Republican sense.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Cory

Hey Mark…i see that you have endorsed David McSweeny. Did you give any consideration to Kathy Salvi who is also a lifelong coservative who believes in strength against terrorism, protecting life, reforming the taxcode and supporting permanent tax cuts?
Perhaps we should decide endorsements on a little more than his liking of Senator Coburn. I like Coburn too, but the Salvis (husband al ran for senate and secretary of state) have done some pretty great things in our communities.
thanks dude and much luck to you on your campaign.
