SaveTheGOP Exclusive: Toomey Says Darkhorse 2008 is Sanford

Toomey, at the 2nd Annuyal Gettysburg Conservative Conference, wowed the crowd with his usual solid conservative view points and argumentation, but the key moment of the day came when Toomey, now head of the Club for Growth, stated that Gov. Mark Sanford was his darkhorse possibility for President in 2008. His other mentions of likely GOP candidates were Giulani, Pataki, McCain, and Santorum. On the Democratic side he said that the possible nominees were: Hillary, Hillary, and oh yeah… Hillary.
Toomey also extoled the importance of the Social Security personal accounts fight saying it was the most important fight of his lifetime that could change the tide in the growth of government. Let’s hope he’s right.
