Bob Casey Jr today announced he would be running for Senate in 2006, giving the Democrats their first real opportunity in ages to win one of Pennsylvania’s senate seats. As an avid watcher of PA politics, I can say this is Rick’s worst nightmare. The GOP should probably chalk this one up as a likely loss, though Rick has shown scrappy political fighting skills in the past. All in all this is a slight lean Dem seat right now.
