CRNC Hacktocracy

OMG…STOP THE PRESSES. You hacks are supporting Michael Davidson…wow, what a shocker. Hey Harris, how did the last CR election you were a part of turn out? Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot…like everything you do in politics it fails…just like this blog endorsing Davidson (which was the worst kept secret in blogging) you will fail again in your quest for the CRNC. BTW…you call yourself a conservative, right? Why don’t we have Michael Davidson talk about were he stands on Gay Rights? I bet you would be in for a shock!

Now I just briefly want to comment on this because I’ve heard this a lot and I think this argument fails on its face value but let me briefly entertain it.
Point 1: This blog has never hidden who it supported, just read any of my posts. It was just that both Alex and Gary felt that they needed to put it in a more formal context.
Point 2: I lost a CR Chapter election by one vote, you are correct. If that somehow refutes my stand on this race I must have missed that day in logic. I think if you would ask any of the Gourley or Davidson people on the ground they will tell you that my race was not about the CRNC, and it was handled honorably by all sides.
Point 3: Yes I do call myself a conservative, and I think I’ve earned the credentials. I could’ve bowed down to the party in Pennsylvania and supported Snarlin’ Arlen but I fought tooth and nail in PA and burned many a bridge because of my stand. That being said this race for CRNC chairman is NOT about positions though I believe you grossly distorted Davidson’s stances. This race is about ethics, and on that ground the only candidate I could support would be Davidson.

The last point I like to make though is that the blog software tracks the IP addresses of its posters, yes, even anonomous. Now you take this for what it is worth but the poster uses an Earthlink account out of Minneapolis, MN. I rest my case…

Note: Hat tip to fellow blogger Andrew for the wonderful word, hacktocracy.
