Overnight News Roundup

Written by Andrew on April 21st, 2005

I like this article (I couldn’t find a version that didn’t require registration, and work beckons…sorry) because it looks like they didn’t even try to get quotes from conservatives. My guess is all the GOP consultants were out getting stoned or something.

Also, it looks like we got sucker punched in Connecticut.

And in older news, Doc Hastings, who represents the most beautiful congressional district in America is probably going to push for hearings against DeLay. This is a good thing in my opinion, because it allows for, say, Tom Tancredo to become Majority Leader.

Nice meta post, though you left out some important news. We are drilling in ANWAR, unless the Senate votes it down that is.

I’m quite lazy. I’ll have to get better at it. I’m also confident that the Senate will vote it down, because they suck.

I think I might start posting like that, a short series of news items and leave the paragraph style posts to commentary only. I think it looks cleaner.

As to ANWR, don’t bet on it passing unless Frist has got 60 votes. It snuck through previously on a parliamentary trick.

As to Tom Tancredo being majority leader, its a nice thought but ain’t gonna happen. Perhaps Mike Pence, though.
