Republican Leadership Attacks Coburn

They want to force him to sto delivering babies b/c it is an ethics violation. Let me get this straight, its an ethics violation to deliver babies but not to be taken out ot expensive dinners by people trying to court your vote on the Hill? The founding fathers are rolling in their graves. The real reason the GOP leadership is doing this though is because Coburn is doing exactly what he said he would do, fight for common sense. Novak’s article outlines how he’s refusing to abide by the freshman silence tradition and has already been fighting to cut insane pork.
If the GOP leadership ends up canning Coburn then they all deserve to be tossed, as they surely don’t represent our party.

Coburn is the man! He is a ture citizen-legislator like our founders were. Any republican who goes along with this is a traitor and will be going in my black list of RINO’s I would like to be involved with defeating. It would give great pleasure.

I don’t mean to be crass, really, but does anyone believe for a second that if he were performing abortions there would be a single peep out of the Dems and RINOs? Dr. Coburn is way too smart to let these jerks get the better of him, expect him in the Senate for 11 more years.
