Written by Andrew on April 30th, 2005Luc Besson, possibly the best action director currently working, is making the official promotional vehicle for Paris’ Olympics bid. I’d say that seals the deal for them. After the attacks of 9/11, there was an incredible amount of sympathy for New York, and Rome’s mayor said other cities should bow out and give it to NYC. It’s been a short three years and now I wonder how much of a role anti-Americanism will play in the final selection.
