Vicente Fox Angered by “Harsh” Immigration Laws

Written by Mark Harris on May 15th, 2005

Wow this is way out of left field. Apparently Vicente Fox is outraged by the increasingly “harsh” immigration laws in the US. Did I miss when we decided to actually enforce the law, and what business it was for some other countries President to be mad about it even if we did enforce the law, which we most certainly do not. I would hope this would be a wakeup call to the White House that no matter what they do short of handing over the White House to Mexico and becoming a colony, they will never be able to please the pro-migrant zealots.

They will however alienate most of their own base.

Not only did Fox criticize harsh U.S. immigration laws, speaking to a group of Texas businessmen he praised illegal immigrants saying “they take jobs not even black people want.”

I’m not big on political correctness, but can you imagine the uproar if a Republican made similar comments??

JB, I am definitely not into being “overly-sensitive” about racial issues, but Vincente Fox obviously has a very low opinion of black people. I gotta be honest, I have never liked Fox, even when the Bush/Fox love affair was in full swing last term. In my humble opinion the best Mexicans have already left Mexico and are living in with us gringos.

Politics as usual. Mexico immigration laws are more stringent than the laws in the U.S..

Why is President Bush so adament about fighting terrorist? Now bear with me. He(Bush) has created the Dept of Homeland Security, passed the Patriot Act, and invaded Iraq and Afganistan, all in the name of fighting terrorism. Now on our southern border, the president is NEGLECTING the immigration problem. Now didn’t he make the claim that Alqida was attempting to infiltrate through that 3rd world nation to our south? Yet, He ( President Bush) seems to be SUCKING up to this man(Fox), in ignoring the security of our southern border. A group of volunteers had taken up the job that the president doesn’t want to do, pratrolling the sourthern border. Maybe that is a job that Blacks do not want either,Right!!
Is President Bush selling out the security of this country to Mexico all in the name of getting the Hispanic Vote?

Senantor Bill Frist on Securing America’s Borders

    Chris

I wanted to reach out to you about an issue you’ll be hearing a lot about in the days and months ahead…the security of our borders.

    We are facing a crisis.

Over 7,000 miles of land span our borders; 330 million non-citizens flow through those borders every year…an alarming number of them illegally.

Make no mistake, most of the people crossing our borders illegally do so for one simple reason:

They are coming to America in search of opportunity and prosperity and a better life.

That’s why they risk their lives…and, sadly, some even lose their lives to get here.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants died last year in the deserts and mountains that separate the United States from Mexico.

Now more than ever, as a matter of law, as a humanitarian matter, as a matter of national security, we must protect our nation’s borders.

    We MUST:

-Deploy more patrol agents and investigators to our borders.
-Equip these professionals with the very best equipment and technology available.
-Build an enduring infrastructure — frontline defenses — that will protect our borders for years to come.

These are just a few of the steps that will secure America’s borders.
Because when we enhance the security of our borders, we increase the safety of our citizens and all who set foot on American soil.

As this is an issue of such profound importance, I would like to hear your opinion on the matter.

So please visit http://www.SecureAmericasBorders.com today to participate in my Security and Immigration Survey.

I look forward to your response.

    Bill Frist, M.D.
    Senate Majority Leader

When president Vicente Fox said mexicans take jobs “not even black people want” he DID NOT mean he has low opinion of them. Black people are part of the mexican culture, the latin american culture and history, if he has a low opinion of them, then well, he would be having a low opinion of mexican people and their history, and it’s not the case. And in saying that mexican people take jobs not even they want, it’s meaning immigrants are taking the lowest position in this “power and position chain”, they’ll do ANYTHING to support their families, their wives, their children - who of you people would leave your family suffer when you know you can find some solution? Even if it means risking your life, hispanics believe their families are more than worth it. Anyways, mexicans aren’t the ones who made black people slaves or treated them so harshly… mexicans can relate to them - they too were made slaves, for 300 years - believe me, they understand. And about taking a position against immigrants, just imagine what would happen to the american economy, if every immigrant left the country, especially the hispanic ones. What would be of California, for example?
