Santorum a ROFTer?

Written by Mark Harris on May 20th, 2005

Apparently the recent article in the NYTimes Sunday edition will reveal that Rick Santorum…gasp… is a reader of “First Things.” For those of you who don’t know what First Things is, well it is probably the premier magazine of traditionalist conservative though with a religious basis. It does hearten me somewhat to know atleast someone on the hill reads First Things.

I would suggest every Save The GOP reader get a subscribtion, its cheap and worth it.

Fifteen bucks for a year of keen analysis. I have to say that First Things has probably surpassed my love for National Review, although it is still a close second.

Those are the two mags I subscribe to. How about everyone else. What are you favorite magazines? I think one’s choice of reading material obviously reflects and influences one’s philosophy.

Perhaps we could get a new poll? Eh, Mark?

Has everyone drunk the neoconservative kool-aid? I occasionally read NR, though I let my subscription lapse a couple of years ago. My favorite journals of opinion are definitely First Things, and The American Spectator, The American Conservative, in that order.
