President Carter, will he ever stop embarrassing himself?
Written by Nate on June 7th, 2005As a citizen of Georgia, I am sad to say that I lose respect for our former President Jimmy Carter every time he opens his mouth. He is now calling on the U.S. to shut down Gitmo. I have one question Jimmy……..Where the Hell where you when our fellow Americans were being held hostage in Iran? Carter in my opinion is near the bottom as far as our presidents go and he has sunk to new lows since he has left office. Not many people have picked up on this but Carter took part in the “Not In Our Name” campaign during the beginning of the war, breaking the long held tradition of past presidents staying out of the politics of future presidents. What is the worst part is Carter did this while on foreign soil. This is yet another example of the left failing to recognize who the enemy is. The terrorists in Gitmo are fanatical freaks who will do anything to kill Americans. You cannot reason with fanatics and you cannot reason with terrorists. You would think that Carter would have learned this lesson by now, but I guess not.

I forgot to mention that Carter gave the Panama Canal away, which is now operated by the Chinese. It is only one of the most vital water ways in the world, which was bought and paid for with American treasure, blood, and sweet. If only Teddy Roosevelt were alive today to see this. He would challenge Carter to a fight and kick his ass.

Carter is a vindictive scumbag. He hides behind is Sunday-school schtick, but the guy is a nasty bastard. The man gets no respect and he deserves none.
One more point, the left and Carter aren’t confused about who the real enemy is, their enemy is us, America.

Democrat ex-Presidents can’t keep their mouths shut because politics is the ONLY thing they have ever known, and liberalism is their religion. How about when Carter tried to rescue the US hostages in Iran and got US soldiers killed in the botched attempt. Or his great foreign policy successes w/ the SALT treaties and the Camp David Accords. Thank God Reagan came along to clean up all those messes. Let the grownups run foreign policy Jimmy. Don’t hammer your thumb.
