More Crazy Cindy

Tuesday, August 16th, 2005

H/t to Karol.

The GOP should just film this lady and rerun the tape and all the leftists crooning over a woman who believes that Bush is really behind 9/11, that there is a nuclear war in Iraq, and that the country is not worth dying for. That’s a message of logic and reason sure to resonate… lol. So now Republicans have Howard Dean and Cindy Sheehan as the gifts that keep on giving.

Cindy Sheehan:

*I’m going all over the country telling moms: “This country is not worth dying for.”*

*We might not even have been attacked by Osama bin Laden if 9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through and, if I would have known that before my son was killed, I would have taken him to Canada. I would never have let him go and try and defend this morally repugnant system we have.*

*We are waging a nuclear war in Iraq right now.*

Jonah Goldberg vs Cindy Sheehan and the Nutty Left

Tuesday, August 16th, 2005

Once again Jonah has taken his intellectual baseball bat to the soft-headed ideas of the left, enjoy.

UPDATE:

If you doubt she is a nut then read these statements:

You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you’ll stop the terrorism.

That lying bastard, George Bush, is taking a five-week vacation in time of war. You get that maniac out here to talk with me in person.

The other thing I want him to tell me is ‘just what was the noble cause Casey died for?’ Was it freedom and democracy? Bull***t! He died for oil. He died to make your friends richer. He died to expand American imperialism in the Middle East.

It’s okay for Israel to occupy Palestine, but it’s – yeah – and it’s okay for Iraq to occupy – I mean, for the United States to occupy Iraq, but it’s not okay for Syria to be in Lebanon. They’re a bunch of f***ing hypocrites!

I was raised in a country by a public school system that taught us that America was good, that America was just. America has been killing people, like my sister over here says, since we first stepped on this continent, we have been responsible for death and destruction. I passed on that bull***t to my son and my son enlisted. I’m going all over the country telling moms: This country is not worth dying for.

9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through and, if I would have known that before my son was killed, I would have taken him to Canada. I would never have let him go and try and defend this morally repugnant system we have.

“This country is not worth dying for.” Sounds like a true patriot to me!

Hat Tip: Media Blog

Cindy Sheehan’s Life Gets Even Worse

Tuesday, August 16th, 2005

Now her husband has decided to divorce her. I would too if I were him, what a crazy moonbat:

But the pressure of the media attention appears to have proved too much for her husband, Patrick.

Last Friday he lodged a divorce petition at Solano County court, northeast of San Francisco, it emerged today. His lawyer did not immediately return calls asking for comment.

Mrs Sheehan says that the stress of the death had already led the couple, who were high school sweethearts, to separate. She admits that he does not agree with the “level of intensity” she has devoted to peace in the past year.

She has had to dissuade her younger son, Andy, from joining the Army. “I said there was no way this Government was going to get another of my children.”

This woman is experiencing a massive amount of pain, all of it self-inflicted. It is almost too horrible to watch, sort of like an animal that doesn’t understand why the forest is burning down.

She is also annoying the residents of Crawford:

Local residents have protested that the campers are trespassing, and the local paper, the McGregor Mirror, has run an open letter to “the woman complaining about her son’s death in Iraq” from Ann Lehman, a Crawford resident.

“You dishonour the President, yourself and God when you deny your son the freedom in death that he had in life to choose. He knew the risk when he joined the military, just as President Bush knows the risk for his life every day!” it read.

What makes this woman think that because her son died she can dictate policy to an elected Commander-in-Chief?
