Will The Media Report The Truth About Joe Wilson??
Written by Gary on October 27th, 2005Investor’s Business Daily slams the Washington Post today in a scathing editorial discussing media coverage of the Wilson affair. As we prepare for possible indictments tomorrow of top White House officials, the media continues to overlook the truth about Joe Wilson - the foreign service officer who investigated the uranium/yellowcake connection between Iraq and Niger in 2002. The media has predictably portrayed Ambassador Wilson as the hapless victim of the Bush White House, a bold analyst who was smeared by Karl Rove and Vice-President Cheney because he dared to tell the “”truth” about Iraq War intelligence.
Don’t believe this for a second. Wilson is the liar. The bipartisan Senate Select Committee on Pre-Iraq War Intelligence and British Intelligence have all confirmed that Iraq was seeking uranium from Niger. Case closed… just don’t count on the media to report this any time soon. Will the bias and incompetency ever end?

Word is going around that Libby’s getting indicted, and Rove is not (for now). Who knows if the source (NY Times, no less) is accurate, but Rove not being indicted would surely have much less of an affect on the administration than if he were.
I still think justice would be served if Wilson got indicted… just imagine the media collectively wishing they were dead amidst the rotten eggs on their faces.
Also, in other news, according to RedState Alito is at the top of Bush’s list, and his nominee may be announced as soon as tomorrow (Friday).
