Its all about the money
Written by Benaiah on January 25th, 2006Remember a couple weeks back when Google rejected a Department of Justice request for a random sampling of search queries in a government pornography probe. Well there are obvious free speech issues. Google was right in stating they would vigorously fight the probe.
But when it comes to emerging markets Google is more than willing to filter results as directed by the Chinese government. When money is on the line Google proves it will compromise its posistions.
