STEELERS WIN! STEELERS WIN!

The “PowerRankings” posted a month and a half ago by a paper at GW:
#13 (5) Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5) – The second floor you say? No it had to have been the penthouse because that was one heck of a free fall. From 5 to 13… I know, I know but they losing to the Bengals was the nail in the coffin, that’s it they’re done for the season and so is Roethlisberger. If he’s smart he’d admit he broke his hand and get it fixed now, but you know him he won’t and he’ll continue to play with it.
I won’t gloat… or talking about how wrong this kid was… nooo… not me….

“I think there were some questionable calls but not enough to swing an 11 point difference.”
Bad Offensive pass inference call = 4 more points for Seattle.
Bad holding call when Seattle gets inside the 2 = 7 more points for Seattle.
Thats 11 points right there, not to mention this is only the tip of the iceberg of bad calls. Even if we only singled out the holding call which cost Seattle 7 points, this argueable was the difference as Seattle would have taken a 17-14 lead in the 4th.
I think you guys in Pittsburg are in the severe minority on whether the Steelers should have won.
Hail to the Paper Chumps!

Yeah I guess the refs made that reciever drop four passes, I guess the refs made the kicker miss two field goals, I guess the refs made the Seahawks have the worst time management / play calling in two minute drill I’ve ever seen.
yeah, the whole world is out to get you…. man sounds like the Dems post ‘00

I never defended the Seahawks critical mistakes during the game, but no doubt that the refs poor calls were a bigger factor.
Ironically, I must admit that I also did think of that analogy of Dems post 2000 (it made my cringe). The biggest difference, however, is the Dems tried to change the rules after the election. The refs seemed to change the rules during the game.
The best breakdown of this game I’ve seen yet: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5310192
Also, its ok to admit the biggest reason why you are admitedly opposed to admitting the Steelers didn’t deserve to win is because you are a die hard Steelers fan.
