Frist Apologies for Chaffee

Just did an interview session with Bill Frist. Nothing very important to note other than he soundly like a Presidential candidate. He gave a less than rining endorsement of Chaffee. We’ll see how it plays out. I will post the audio soon.

Gilchrist

Jim Gilchrist stopped by the bloggers row and our contributor Nathan did a short interview with him. Audio is below. Gilchrist had run in the special election for California 48 to replace Rep. Cox. He recieved 25.1% of the vote.

Unfortunately, technical dificulties caused the interview not to record, but Gilchrist emphasized how important it was for the GOP to address immigration as an issue or else it risked losing a lot of votes among the conservative base.

Parke For Senate

Greg Parke, Republican candidate for Senate in Vermont, has been milling around CPAC. He is in a two-way Republican primary to face avowed Socialist Bernie Sanders (I).

Sanders is heavily favored in the race.

CPAC Day Two

Today Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Mitch McConnell (KY) have both spoke. Coming up later today Ann Coulter as well as Ken Mehlman and Sen. Bill Frist are scheduled to speak. We will try and get audio posted along with the updates.

Tonight The George Washington University College Republicans will host Ann Coulter. All Savethegop.com readers and CPAC attendees are welcome to attend.

Numerous leftist organizations have pledged a full-scale protest. If you are a conservative and in Washington DC for the CPAC convention, we need you at this event. Click here for directions. Take the Metro to Foggy Bottom and walk to 21st and H Streets.
