Ann Coulter just finished speaking. She was over the top as usual. I will lay off on the commentary.

She doesn’t know when to stop. From what I hear she referred to Muslims as “towelheads” and when a Conservative Republican Muslim stood up and told her that she should not characterize all Muslims, she responded incoherently that she could tell a couple jokes because “they” killed 3,000 Americans. Stupid.

Am I the only person that thinks this woman is completely overrated? She’s an absolute publicity whore and is incapable of directly answering a question.

Coulter may have some good talking points, but as far as I am concerned she crosses the line constantly with her ridiulous diatribes and her unfettering attacks on anyone who doesn’t agree with her. She is an embarrasment to activist conservatives as far as I am concerned.

Coulter is rude, obnoxious and conceited. Her behavior at CPAC was a slap in the face to all conservatives. Her comments about Muslims, in their faces, at CPAC, was embarrassing. CPAC had several conservative Muslim groups as CO-SPONSORS. And she publicly insulted them. Many conservatives keep asking, “Where are the Muslims that denounce terrorism? Where are the Muslims that support President Bush?” Well, they were at CPAC, and she insulted them. She should apologize, publicly — just as she insulted them — or CPAC 2007 should not include her.

Furthermore, her behavior at her book signing at the Clare Boothe Luce organization’s table was incredibly arrogant. She comes by to pick up a gift basket and award, with a couple hundred CPAC attendees waiting, some up to an hour and half, signs a few books and posters for no more than 10 minutes, then jumps up, doesn’t say anything to the waiting crowd, no explanation, no nothing, and leaves.

This woman has let her PREVIOUS success go to her head. I loved Treason, but that doesn’t buy her a lifetime pass on manners and decorum. Everyone who attended CPAC should e-mail the organizers and express their displeasure and insist that she not be invited back until, or unless, she makes amends.

For the record, I am not Muslim. I am Episcopalian,.
