Toomey Endorses Harris (and Others)

Written by Mark Harris on April 2nd, 2006

Ok so now is time for my uber-shameless plug. This weekend at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference, former Congressman Toomey (my political hero) endorsed me in my campaign for State Representative. It honestly was one of the proudest moments of my life that a hero for the modern conservative movement was supporting me in my effort to change the state.

What Rep. Toomey said that actually made news though was his endorsement of Eichelberger and Folmer for their respective State Senate seats against entrenched and very powerful liberal Republicans. The act of bravity and integrity by Rep. Toomey to get involved in these races when no one else will risk their political behinds is something to be truly respected. For all of the criticism that have been lobbed against Toomey the charge of political opportunist that Specter threw out had to be the most rediculous, and this action proves it. Toomey stuck his neck and political future on the line for two soldiers on the field fighting for freedom. As such, we need people all across the country but especially in Pennsylvania to stick their necks (and pocketbooks) out for freedom.

Below I have links to the “Four Horsemen” (the nickname that has been given to a few conservative insurgents in the state) and other solid conservatives that are fighting the good fight here in PA to protect and defend the deposit of liberty left by our forefathers.
