With Friends Like These…

RINO Alen Specter is at it again. He now wants to drag Telephone compnay executives to Washington to testify in worthless hearings about their cooperation with the NSA wiretapping of suppected terrorists. I bet Bush is regretting his support of Specter over Toomey.

I still can not understand the objection of monitoring statebound phone calls from supected terrorists. Who do people who object think we are dealing with? We are told not to question their patriotism. I think it is about time we start.

There are about a million better reasons for Bush to regret supporting Specter, I wouldn’t expect him to start now.

The problem is not monitoring phone calls, it is that phone calls of nearly 300,000,000 people are being tracked. Do you suggest that the entire population of the country, including you and I, are supected terrorists? The reason for telling us nothing is always national security. At one time I agreed, but I now think the reason is that the truth would cause demonstrations and impeachment proceedings. W is NO conservative, he’s worse than the democrats. Ben Franklin would spin in his grave at this program.
