More on the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

Written by YellowJacket on September 25th, 2006

If you’ve paid attention to the blogosphere lately (if not read my post below and follow the link to Hot Air), you know that former President Clinton got very aggresive with interviewer Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday regarding his actions while in office to go after al Qaida and Osama bin Laden. Amidst his inappropriate hand gesturing and emotional insistence that Wallace, FOX (isn’t Rupert Murdoch supporting Hillary Clinton? Or is that just part of the “conspiracy”?), and ABC are all out to get Clinton as part of the conservative right wing, Clinton maintained that conservatives were being hypocritical because the same voices who question his administration’s actions while in office for eight years supposedly were against Clinton’s actions against al Qaida when he was in office and claimed that he “spent too much time on bin Laden.”

These assertions by Clinton simply aren’t true. The Corner at NRO has a good round-up of repeated support from Republican leaders for President Clinton’s anti-al Qaida actions. Go there and scroll down a while, see what goodies you can find.

The RNC has a very good fact sheet exposing Clinton’s lies on Sunday.
