    Just about one of the greatest speeches ever given. Communicates in 30 minuets everything I believe and why. That is why he is and will always be “the Great Communicator.” Good Post Mark.

    This speech was made in 1964, the following year our invovlement in Vietnam escalated into full scale warfare. Between 1965 and 1980 this nation suffered under some of the worst leadership in our history. The cultural and political consequences are still being felt today. How many people were ready to heed Goldwater’s warning in ‘64? How many people were eager to correct their past mistakes in 1980?
