Presidential Candidate Selector

Written by Sam on October 24th, 2006

This is one of those neat little quizzes where you answer a few questions and then it tells you who your ideal candidate is for President in 2008. It lists the top 25. I got a 100% for Tom Tancredo.

Flawed poll because I know that Langley would trade his left nut for a warm Natty Light before he would vote Brownback for Prez.

Yeah I don’t think I’d support anyone in my top 3… certainly not Brownback or Bill “I hate online gambling” Frist.

And placing McCain that high on my list is just laughable… he’s such a media-whoring windbag. I’d rather have Romney with his Socialist leanings then McCain.

Tancredo isn’t running so he doesn’t really belong on the list. I like him for the most part, but he is weak on free trade. Out of that list I would vote for Allen first and then Tancredo.

The poll isn’t perfect but I think you need to rework your stance on the issues David, lol.

Mitt Romney’s stock has been going up in my book. I still like George Allen, even though he still has his foot in his mouth from earlier. Still not excited about anyone.

Well Nate for me it comes down to who do I trust more: Allen or Romney? And that my friend is a no brainer, I don’t trust either very much but put a gun to my head and I’ll vote Allen.

I got Newt Gingrich?!?!? I would have assumed Brownback…odd. Anyway, the question on taxing and spending was odd: it basically only allowed for the Democrat answer of “raise taxes” or the establishment Republican answer of “don’t do anything, use pork to get re-elected and #%#@ the people”.

Yeah the tax question was very visibly distorted so that only those two major opinions were represented.

What about this option: “Lower taxes dramatically whilst simultaneously reducing spending dramatically from all of the unconstitutional programs currently being supported by both parties.” Not bad huh?

But if you do that then kids start starving on the streets and anarchy reigns.

No. Then people would have enough money to buy food for those poor laid off government employees. Also, without price controls and subsidies(paying farmers not to grow crops), the price of food goes way down.

The questions were so bad, I voted neither for quite a view If you have no opinions, the apparently start to look better. My results:

    (36%) 25: Sen. Joseph Biden (D) Information

I rate Hagel higher and Guiliani much higher than they appeared and Frist lower. Remarkably, Pataki, Romney, McCain and Huckabee came out at the bottom of the Republicans which also rates correctly.
