    And he is getting damn tired of these so-called “pork busters”!

    Seriously, this is the best we could do? I can’t stand these people.

    Trent is part of the problem in the Senate, he should be as far away from leadership as possible. When I think of Trent Lott, I think of the worst tenure of a Senate majority leader in a long time. He was absolutely played by Daschle.

    Seems like a mixed bag:

    Minority Leader: Mitch McConnell (indifferent)
    Minority Whip: Trent Lott (boo!)
    Conference Chairman: Jon Kyl (yah!)
    Conference Vice-Chairman: John Cornyn (yah!)
    Policy Chairwoman: Kay Bailey Hutchison (didn’t she want to run for governor?)
    NRSC: John Ensign (yah!)

    Mitch McConnell is good IMO simply because he has such a warrior mentality approach to dealing with the Dems. He will do his best to combat the Senate majority on the issues that matter.

    Kay Bailey Hutchison is an embarassment to the state of Texas. She is another boo!
