As much as I’m despondent about the lack of any good conservatives running, I don’t think a rejection by his peers for a leadership post will position him well for a Presidential run.
I’m just praying Mark Sanford changes his mind about running.

I think that being rejected by the Washington system is as good a position as any in a lot of ways.

    I’m with you on Sanford.

Pence is in favor of a guest worker program, just like Bush. I agree with Pence more than you guys do :p

Pence has come out and said he no longer favors a guest worker program. Still agree with him?

Pence is a great guy and it was a mistake not to elect him. He’d be great as a leader in the House one day.

As for the 2008 race for president, John Cox has been campaigning for months as an announced candidate and is making great inroads. He is fast becoming the spokesman for discouraged Reagan conservatives.
