I really don’t think this is a good idea.

I agree Woodroe, I think with his recent Miami comments and Paul getting in that he has little natural constituency.

Well it looks like we have another Colorado congressional seat to defend as Tancredo has hinted in the past he would not run for Congress and President at the same time.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe Tom’s CD is actually very Republican.

Whats up with Republicans getting creamed in Colorado lately?
Hopefully Bob Schaffer will run if Allard retires. Schaffer limited himself to 3 terms and was an active member of the RSC during his time in the House.

Schaffer would be awesome in the Senate, he is solid on domestic policy especially.
Tancredo’s district is among the most conservative in America, encompassing suburbs of Denver like Littleton and then spreading into some rural areas. Only three people have been elected to the seat and only two have actually served (Jack Swigert, the Apollo 13 astronaut died before taking his oath of office). It’s a solid 65-35 R district, so losing it isn’t a problem. Now, the establishment could always sneak a RINO in, which would probably be worse.
