IE Bug Fixed… I think

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

I believe it was actually the interaction of the Flash YouTube videos with the new theme and a whole lot of complex bugs in both IE6 and IE7. Its amazing Microsoft can stay on top pumping out awful products like IE6 and IE7. If you have any more problems email me at markdharris@gmail.com

Get Firefox… IE is Awful

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

Ok anyone reading this post should switch to Firefox if they haven’t already. I’ve just spent two hours so far trying to debug a major error in Internet Explorer 7 and down with our new relaunch that is native to the awful programming of MS Internet Explorer.

UPDATE: I can’t fix IE yet, and while I am debugging I have to leave it like this. So if you want to be able to load the page, I suggest switching to a real web browser like Firefox (linked above) though I suppose if you CAN read this you already have so congrats!

UPDATE: This bug is a hard to get little bugger that has something to do with the javascript files and their execution of the innerHTML function possible when done before the DOM tree is fully built. You tech nerds out there I need your help on this one. Shoot me an email at markdharris@gmail.com if you’ve ever run into anything like this before. I certainly never have. The best I can get is this IE bug page from Microsoft.
