Kerry’s Out
Written by YellowJacket on January 24th, 2007You can read all about it here.
I’m actually surprised. Though nobody gave Kerry a snowball’s chance in hell of garnering the Democratic nomination a second time for the Presidential race in 2008, I was sure that his pompous arrogance, his insistence that he deserved the Presidency, gosh-darn it!, would propel him to run regardless of what his advisors and friends said.
Oh, and as is the current popular thing to do amongst Democrats in DC, he renounced his vote to authorize the invasion of Iraq in 2002. How great to know that some of our elected officials will wholeheartedly support a war effort, only to retract their support at any time given the political atmosphere. Sure makes me feel really comfortable about our leaders in Washington.

I didn’t take the time to watch Kerry cry all over himself, or Kennedy and Reid give their “I love you, man” speeches. I, for one, am overjoyed that Kerry made this decision!! I get tired of seeing his face on my television. Now that he’s not competing for the “big prize”, maybe the media will ignore him. One can only hope!!!
So, he’s the first “I actually supported using force in Iraq, before I was against it and the troops” Democrat to drop from the Presidential race….Who’s next? Joe Biden, John Edwards???

I’m waiting to see if he drops out of the race befor getting into it.

Hillary has already renounced her support for the resolution.

Oh..I know Hillary has renounced her support…but she won’t drop out of the race like Kerry did…There is a chance Biden or Edwards might, which is why I referred to them by name……Biden more so than Edwards….

Oh, I see, my bad. I didn’t notice the “drop out of the race” part of your statement. I thought you were just asking about Presidential candidates.
