As for the Democrats in America, I tell them:
The people chose you due to your opposition to Bush’s policy in Iraq, but it appears that you are marching with him to the same abyss, and it appears that you will take part with him in the defeat and certain failure, with God’s permission. And the American people shall discover that you are all one side of the same coin of tyranny, criminality and failure; that failure which - by the grace of God - has neutralized the endeavors of the traitors who entered Kabul and Baghdad on the backs of American tanks, and has dashed their hopes as they see the Mujahideen come closer and closer to victory, which has led them to urgently appeal to America for help and implore it to continue to occupy their lands and raise the banners of the Cross over their heads.

Don’t you realize that this kind of stuff is obviously designed to help Republicans? You think they’re so stupid that, when Al Qaeda endorses Democrats, they expect it *not* to create a Republican backlash? In fact, they’re counting on patriotic folks like you to get out their message!
Al Qaeda would like nothing more than 8 more years of a Bush-ite in office; it’s the best recruiting device they have.

Despite the manifold failures of the Bush administration in fighting Islamic terror these people do not want to fight the Americans, who when all is said and done are a distraction to their true aims.
They want to combat the dictatorships of the Middle East and establish a caliphate from China to Morocco. They want the Democrats elected so they can fight the real enemy, false muslims. If you were even halfway educated on this topic you would know this, but like most liberals you distort reality to fit your worldview. People like you deserve your fate.

You don’t seem to understand them at all. They are merely being honest about their intents and goals as they always have been. They are not seeking to change a single mind with their statement.
They are calling out the Democrats for saying they were against the war in Iraq, but once elected not doing anything to stop it. They are doing this not to affect public opinion in America or to shame the Democrats into action but rather as a message to their own supports. They message is this: “see how empty and vapid the Americans are, they promised to stop the fighting in Iraq, but now won’t.” They are trumpeting the moral superiority of their cause to their fellow muslims.
Do you understand now? I believe the point Mark was trying to make is that both Al-Qaeda and the Democrats want the same thing, for hosilities to cease between the two sides.

I don’t like how you’re comparing the Democrats to a group of terrorist murderers. Both Al Qaeda and the Republicans think that gay marriage is an atrocity. Doesn’t mean that the Republicans are terrorists.

I didn’t compare the Democrats to Al-Qaeda, all I said was that the two groups have some of the same goals. The issue being discussed here is a hell of a lot more important than gay marriage. Al-Qaeda wants all gays brutally killed, SOME conservatives want to deny gays in this country the status of marriage.
That in your mind is the same thing? Come on. Al-Qaeda wants the US to disengage from the Middle East so they can destabilise other muslim nations. The Democrats want the US to disengage from the Middle East because violence bothers and scares them so they feel the best option is to avoid it.

I’m pretty sure that while this is on the Islamist’s to-do list, it comes after “Death to America”. I thought that they wanted to kill all of the heathen before they moved on to the false muslims?

No I am sorry that is simply not correct. They want to kill Americans not because we are infidels, but because our country would never allow the creation of a Taliban-like caliphate across the Islamic world. They tried to create one in Algeria and we fought them, they have tried to create one in Afghanistan and we toppled it, now they are trying to create one in Al-Anbar and Salahhudin provinces in Iraq but we are fighting them again. They hate us because we oppose their aims. We fund and support secular Arabic and muslim governments across the world and this is why they have attacked us.

Their #1 priority is to create their own nation and for this nation to encompase the entire Islamic world.

Of course I do, that is what I was trying to say, but failed to communicate it very well. WE are not their audience. This message was taped in Arabic and sent to Arabic news channels. They are showing their fellow Arabic muslims that their hatred of the USA is justified. They speak to the Democrats, but their real target is the muslim who likes Al-Qaeda but is not yet ready to fight America. By showing the blatant hypocrisy of the Democrats they are showing how truly empty and worthless the word of the “other poltical party” of America is. They said: “And the American people shall discover that you are all one side of the same coin of tyranny, criminality and failure” In otherwords, the Democrats and the GOP are the same really. The new guys talk about peace, but look they aren’t stopping the violence against your muslim brothers in Iraq and Afghanistan are they?
