McCain Rejects CPAC

Not the smartest thing to do to the grassroots.  The Washington Times has it on their front page.

    What McCain avoided was the potentially embarassing scenario of being booed down by people who wouldn’t give him the time of day anyway. And it wouldn’t primarily be grassroots activists, but rather those who will never forgive him for daring to stand up against the Bush machine in 2000.

    Do you doubt their power? The only reason that they might be quiet about it now is because they want to latch onto Romney. Mark and I disagree about this, however.
