SC Governor Sanford may be running for something

While Governor Sanford still denies he is running for President it looks like he may be running for something.

A Thompson/Sanford ticket? That is unstoppable.

Sanford was HANDS-DOWN my top choice for ‘08. If Thompson jumps in, I wouldn’t mind seeing Sanford as veep. Although the VP slot isn’t the best position for Sanford to run for President in the future (post-Thompson). I know that is thinking way ahead, but I’d love to see Sanford as GOP Chairman under a Thompson administration. He’d be able to build a national base for a Presidential run. All that said, I’d LOVE to see a Thompson-Sanford ticket. My #2 choice is Thompson-Gramm!

Sanford was my number one choice as well.

Not wanting to be repetitive, but yet wanting to make a clear point.

Governor Sanford also previously endorsed McCain for President.

    2. Gov. Sanford

Anyone know who Congressman Pence endorsed in 2000?? If it was McCain, he’d have the trifecta.

There is only one rule you have to know about Mark Sanford in order to understand him.
“Everything he does is designed to make HIM look good…and he can care less about the people of SC”.
Whether it is his budget vetoes or executive decisions or failure to fill state vacancies or any action you care to name…they all make him look good to the masses while proving to be completely ineffectual as policy.
But by any standard he is a miserable failure. That the press gives him a pass is a demonstration of his personal charm (as used on the editors)…and a true disgrace to the state of the modern media.
