    Romney’s support will evaporate if Thompson jumps in.
    Thompson would be an outstanding candidate. McCain is imploding, which is a good thing. He would be a terrible candidate. Did anyone read or hear where he said he would only run a “positive” campaign. That sounds nice, but you’ve GOT to hit hard at your opponents’ weaknesses to give yourself a chance. Of course, I believe in promoting a positive agenda, but he can’t win unless he’s willing to point out how liberal Giuliani is, etc.
