‘The Sound of Silence’
Written by YellowJacket on June 3rd, 2007In response to the Wall Street Journal’s video of their editors calling opponents of the immigration bill “foaming at the mouth” and stating in multiple ways that the conservative response to the bill was irrational and without a plan of its own, the editors of National Review challenged the editors of the Wall Street Journal to a moderated debate on immigration. The WSJ, who just a few days ago were on a moral high horse looking down upon the “foaming,” ignorant opponents, have been strangely silent to the challenge.
I guess it’s just not worth the time of the WSJ to debate others when they are so intellectually superior. The arrogance of the inside-the-beltway crowd strikes again.
