Hutchison Will Not Support Immigration Bill
Written by Sam on June 22nd, 2007
U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas, who has been under intense pressure from the White House and Republican leadership to support a sweeping immigration overhaul, nevertheless announced today that she will vote against reviving the legislation when it returns to the Senate floor next week…………
……………… “Until major changes are made that reject amnesty and a more open, fair process emerges for debating one of the most crucial issues facing our nation, I cannot support this immigration bill,” she said.
Despite this, Trent Lott (RINO-MS) expects to get the necessary 60 votes to bring the legislation back to the floor so this battle is far from over.

So let me see if understand: Giuliani would make an “excellent” Republican VP Candidate, but Lott is a RINO (Lott might like a little pork, but he has a 92.4 rating from ACU) … is this on some parallel universe?

Giuliani would be a poor choice for VP and I don’t give a damn about some rating as far as Trent Lott is concerned. Look at his voting record when it comes to expanding the size of government, he is a RINO.
