    so does that make it socialized medicine? or should the supply and demand bring down prices? oh wait, that doesnt work for some reason with medication.

    Actually, it’s very much not socialized medicine in that a private business is lowering prices to increase the demand for generic drugs. Supply and demand would work for drug prices if the government and big insurance companies would step out of the way and let the market work.
