I do not know, Sam.

Even I think that there is some bias in your assessment and I am not a Republican!!

Usually, there are more to these international wranglings than meet the eye. All I can say is keep an eye on it. There is something very strange about how this administration is acting. What is so special about this guy? Why try to defend him when Bush rarely defend rapist or murderers in this country?

A strange story indeed.

Spare me your BS, Joe. We have three border guards in jail for actually protecting our country and Bush sits on his ass doing nothing about it. But, as soon as Mexico runs to The Hague to have the conviction of a man who, with four of his friends, raped and murdered two children Bush suddenly cares about the opinion of the World Court and will argue before the Supreme Court that this man should be spared the death penalty.

This is in addition, of course, to the several attempts the Bush Administration has made to legalize illegal aliens in the country, the vast majority of which are from Mexico, and his speech he gave a few months back in Mexico saying how he was working to change our immigration policy to suit their liking.

Then let's not forget the obvious, that our borders are still basically wide open in a post 9-11 world.

Those people talking about the North American Union aren't sounding so nuts any longer.

Joe, no one said Bush cares more about rapists than Americans. All that Sam said was (1) Bush cares more about Mexico than America, which is unquestionably true inasmuch as the President is attempting to force the American criminal-justice system to fall in line with a foreign legal authority; and (2) Bush is defending a Mexican murderer-rapist, which is also unquestionably true inasmuch as Bush is using his power to save Medellin from execution.

I really don't know who's the bigger demagogue, you or Publius. Both of you have repeatedly rushed to accuse people of bigotry for disagreeing with you--which alone is enough to make your commentary beneath the level of this or any other site--and both of you attack the obvious as if it were the work of Goebbels.

Your commentary is the rotten sewage, Joe, and it's been that way for years. All the way back to your comments about the Harriet Miers nomination. If Alan Dershowitz called himself a Republican and wrote comments on this website, I can't imagine his comments would be any different from yours, in terms of either tone or content. You're a left-wing attack dog and you represent what's worst in the GOP.

This post is an outrageous stoop to Moveon.org levels of discourse and straw-man attacks and Sam ought to be ashamed. Of course the President cares more about Americans than rapists, and Jose Medellin is a dead man walking because our country values justice -- unlike Mexico.

I've said SaveTheGOP was going down the drain. Actually, the drain is now backed up and rotten sewage is being poured all over the floor.
