Written by Sean on November 20th, 2007Sens. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) and Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) call each other “brother,” and that brotherly relationship is paying off in defense earmarks worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Gov. Palin, I know you’re busy dealing with this kind of waste and corruption in your own state, but could we bother you for just a bit to find somebody willing to give this guy a run for Veco’s his money?

Aren’t you the same person who bemoaned that the RNC didn’t spend enough money to “save” Conrad Burns in the last election cycle? He was more of a crook than Stevens and friends.

I was indeed, and thank you for arguing that a sitting Republican Senator is less of a crook than someone whose political career is over. You could’ve made the case that Stevens was the greater crook, but you chose not to. Feeling charitable, are we?
