CPAC: Romney dropping out

It seems like its preparation for the VP nomination or a 2012 candidacy. Not a “thank you for your support” speech. Focusing on the attacks on American culture and values.

UPDATE: Romney is clearly running in 2012. He alluded to similarities between his campaign and Reagan’s in 1976. He says he’s dropping out to make it easier for us to win in November…. “will stand aside for my party and my country” and “will continue to stand for conservative principles.”

This is really pathetic….never, never thought I’d not vote GOP in a Presidential election.
So sad….
But I will actively campaign against a McCain Presidency.

Another thought…
It’s really incredible that the media succeeded in convincing conservatives that Mitt Romney was not one of them when every single accomplishment of his governorship and private sector life points to the opposite conclusion. I think he ran a very valliant effort and I hope he runs against President Clinton in 2012.
