These guys are far more interested in power than they are liberty or limited government. Most of the worst offenders of waste and pork are in the southern states. We got lucky here in South Carolina with Mark Sanford and Jim DeMint, but most of their reforms have been squashed by the Republicans in the State Legislature or in Washington because they refuse to give up their gravy trains. The southerners are fantastic on God and guns, but they're an abomination when it comes to handling our money. This attitude is typical with many southern Republicans.
