28% of Clinton Backers Would Go to McCain
Written by Sam on March 26th, 2008PRINCETON, NJ — A sizable proportion of Democrats would vote for John McCain next November if he is matched against the candidate they do not support for the Democratic nomination. This is particularly true for Hillary Clinton supporters, more than a quarter of whom currently say they would vote for McCain if Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee.

It would appear that Obama isn’t the great magnificent unifier that the media and his supporters claim him to be. As it gets closer to the election and more and more people begin to realize exactly how far to the left and out of touch with America this guy is he will be more and more vulnerable to defeat. Anyone who thinks he is going to ride some wave to victory is going to be sorely disappointed.

I agree with Sam on this one. As I’ve been trying to tell my Democratic friends for several months, Hillary Clinton is by far the stronger candidate for the general election, as she has already been vetted repeatedly. Americans have heard ad nauseam every piece of trash that anyone could possibly find. All this Limbaugh nonsense (e.g. whitewater or her husband’s sex life) is basically a nonstarter these days to anyone with a brain.
On the other hand, one can’t even imagine what the Republican slime machine is going to do to an open book like Obama. Look at how you guys were able to lynch Harold Ford with a single TV ad!

I would highly doubt that it when it comes down to it, that many Democrats would not vote for their party. I am very skeptical of those numbers.

Obama is a uniter… of the American people for John McCain. Obama is in free fall in the Rasmussen daily tracking poll and appears to be nearing the point where if a general election happened today, he would get slaughtered.
The funny thing is that the Republicans have nominated a great candidate for this situation. McCain appears to be the great statesman compared to the clowns of the Democratic Party. This has become McCain’s race to lose.

How much of this is due to the fact that the Democratic nominee decision is the current “election,” though? How much of this is fairly empty posturing on the part of Democrats who want *their* favorite on the ballot in Nov.?
Those questions are why I agree with Ben…

Hey Pennsylvania ….
Wanna BUY an old obsolete nuclear power plant? YES? OK, then, just VOTE for Obama.
The nuke industry is planning to build 29 new nukes. ONE in Pennsylvania
(See Map at NY Times LINK: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/31/washington/31nuclear.html?_r=1&oref=slogin )
Excelon Corp, (largest nuke operator on the planet) headquartered in Illinois, has been one of Obama’s largest contributors ever since he first ran for office.
Obama voted FOR the Cheney Energy Bill of 2005 (H.R. 6) - which ENABLED the nuke industry to start planning to build nukes. (No new nukes have been built for the past 30 years because the banks would not loan the money - too risky.)
The Cheney Energy Bill solved that problem for them by GUARANTEEING Taxpayer PAYBACK of any of the nukes loans that default (The Congressional Budget Office rated the risk of default on the nuke loans at 50% or greater).
Here’s the kicker: Obama has been getting BILLIONS of Dollars worth of FREE Sales PROMOTION -Campaign HELP- From: NBC & MSNBC, and CBS … because GE owns NBC/MSNBC and Westinghouse owns CBS.
(If you check on the NY Times MAP you will see that GE & Westinghouse are planning to build the reactors at most of the planned nuke sites.)
That’s the reason WHY the media has been rabidly PUSHING to SELL you an Obama & slamming and smearing the Clintons
COPY & PASTE and Pass the Word to everybody on your email list and to any blogs, TV, Radio, newspapers you can.
p.s. McCain is pro-nuke too & voted FOR the cheney energy bill.
