    Christ on a …

Have you happened to notice that the places with the most expensive gas also happen to be the areas with high population density?

By your argument, table 1 from this publication shows that voting Republican makes people uneducated:

As I pointed out in an earlier post, you don’t understand the basic issues with using aggregated data to make conclusions at an individual level. You also don’t seem to understand that correlation does not prove causation.

Pubes! Its been a while. I guess you dont count texas, florida or pennsylvania as populous states. Or Arizona, North Carolina, and georgia. And I guess West VA must be one of the most populated states in the country!
I really missed something not going to that Pine Pollen high school of yours.

Publius, you’re out of your realm again as usual. Population has nothing to do with it. New Jersey is one of the most populous states in the country, but it’s got some of the cheapest gas.

It’s the gas tax that makes the difference. Overall, the states with the highest gas prices are states run by Democrats and have the highest gas taxes. So as I said, you get what you vote for.

Population has nothing to do with gas consumption? New Jersey is cheap because the gas stations are only allowed to change their gas prices ONCE a day. In some places the price can only go up once per WEEK. Your math doesn’t work. In NYC gas is high because of the density, supply/demand and the fact that large tankers are NOT allowed in NYC, the tankers are very small, thus, more trips to gas stations, thus, higher fuel costs.

What a bunch of typical republicans, someone posts something and you all drool without researching the issue yourself… bunch of brainless robots.

Professor Roger, please explain WV, rural IL, and MI. Last time I checked, those states were pretty sparsely populated. And dont forget that TX, the second most populated state in the union, has some of the cheapest gas in the country.
All of the brainless robots are waiting for your wisdom…
