I’m just ecstatic! I had been pulling for Palin–but I saw it as a near impossibility. McCain has just been incredible over these past few weeks: the amazing Saddleback Forum performance, the great commercials, controlling the narrative and tempo of the campaign season, and now this VP selection. I’m thrilled! Job well done, Senator McCain! McCain/Palin 2008!

For the first time I so, so, soooooo wanna be there! Damn, and it’s too late to kiss the appropriate asses to finagle a ticket.

Oh well… I’ll see if I can throw a nomination party with my Republican peeps here in Raleigh.

I never realized how much of a down to earth, good speaker she is until that speech. Comes off far better than Messiah Obama.

The McCain camp is reporting that they raised $3 million dollars by 6pm on Friday because of Palin.

The pro-life movement has another chance to make its case since it will have a pro-life female vice-president to make the sell. From an issues perspective, her selection could potentially prove to be the tipping point on abortion.

Yes her speach was one of the best from either side all campaign season. She knows what those down to earth American values are (pro-life, pro-second amendment) and she has the record to back it up. Palin/McCain 2008
