Boycott Venezuela!! Don’t buy CITGO GAS!

It is about time we stop giving to our enemies and lunatics who want to kill us. CITGO is owned and controlled by the Venezuela government.

Enemy, sure. Lunatic, sure. But I don’t think Chavez wants to kill “us”, the American people. Just our government. Technically, this makes him less of an enemy than many other world leaders.

  2. DavidShiffman says:

Doesn’t Shell sell Russian oil? I heard that somewhere.

  3. Griffin Emerson says:

Shell, BP, Exxon, Sunnoco, they all refine each others oil and then sell it as gas to us under their respective brands boycotts would do nothing except drive the station oweres out of business.

  4. Mike says:

Irrelevant. Buy Citgo gas, it makes no difference. Venezuela loses money on their Citgo operation and in fact are going to stop supplying Citgo with gas from Venezuela but are going to continue to keep the company intact (I think). The individual Citgo stations are going to be seeling gas purchased from other third parties. Buy gas from Citgo or not, but it won’t enrich Venezuela one way or the other.

For the record I would like to see Chavez sniped.

  5. @Mike:

Venezuela and Citgo feel the pressure from lost sales. Otherwise why all the PR efforts to clean up the company’s image?

Chavez continues his lunatic rantings, including insulting Americans on 9/11. Adding injury to insult, he’s also threatening to withhold oil deliveries to the US.

We need to be clear in our message back to Chavez. Don’t buy anything from Venezuela. A good place to start is to boycott Citgo!
