As predicted the attempt to audit the Fed has been blocked by the Democrats in the Senate. Jim DeMint’s efforts to highlight the rank hypocrisy of the Democrat’s Senate procedures is fun to watch though.

Conservatives need to remain consitent on this issue. This can’t be something the Republicans just forgot about. The political tides are turning away already, and this is clearly an issue that’s important to a lot of GOP voters. Myself included.

I’m amazed though, by the overall lack of coverage on this topic in the conservative blogosphere. I don’t get it at all.
