How Republicans Can Win

Written by Mark Harris on January 19th, 2005

Meet State Senator Bob Regola (R-PA), who today introduced a plan detailed here. It would roll back the highly unpopular tax increases that Gov. Ed Rendell and the Republican (”RINO”) leadership passed in 2003.

A Republican wanting to lower taxes? Seems like it should be a dog bites man type of story, but due to the terrible liberal record of Republican state legislatures its more like man bites dog. The funny twist to this story though is that Regola was just elected in November by beating as long-term Democratic incumbant. The Pennsylvania Republican Party keeps scratching its head wondering why it doesn’t do better… well they should follow Regola’s lead and be true conservatives.

Your site is a refreshing change from the majority of sites I have visited. When I first started visiting web sites I was excited by the potential of the internet as a resource and was very disappointed initially. You have restored my enthusiasm and I thank you for your efforts to share your insights and help the world become a better place.
